I’m recovering from the flu and still feeling a bit under the weather hence the short and sweet nature of my last few posts. On a brighter note, I’m happy to report that I recently purchased a new rug for my bedroom! I picked up the robin’s egg blue Madeline Weinrib Mimm print cotton flat weave rug that you see above from ABC Carpet. I plan to layer this on top of a neutral colored natural fiber rug which I’m still searching for. As for the rest of the bedroom, I’ve finally landed on a creative direction. Below is a little inspiration board I put together which gives you a feel for the look I’m trying to achieve. You can click the photo to see the details up close. I’ll keep you posted on my progress!

Great Board! MW is having a sample sale in NY, so if you are in the neighborhood, you could score on that rug.

Katie-I so wish I would have known about the sale before I bought the rug! Oh well! I definitely think I’ll check out the sale anyway although I’m afraid I may get myself into trouble! I’m a sucker for a sale;-)
Design 59…maybe I’ll see you there! Although by the time I can make it downtown I’m sure all the good stuff will be gone:( The sample sale competition in this city is fierce!
