One of the perks of working in fashion and living in New York is having access to all of the fabulous designer sample sales around the city! Recently, a crop of great online sites have launched that are bringing designer sample sales to the masses so that people outside of New York can join in on the fun. You’ve probably heard of sites like Gilt Groupe or Ideeli by now. Well, let me introduce you to One Kings Lane, the online sample sale devoted entirely to home decor products! One Kings Lane is a new, invitation-required online shopping destination dedicated to providing its members with spectacular savings on notable home furnishings, accessories and gifts. One Kings Lane features world-renowned home decor brands at exclusive prices (up to 70% off retail). In addition to stunning deals, One Kings Lane members receive tips and inspiration from industry experts, such as celebrated interior
designers, event planners, space organizers and floral designers.

Left: Dwell Studio. Right: Serena & Lily

The site JUST launched yesterday so you can be among the first to join! Today’s sales feature Dwell Studio and Serena & Lily. Upcoming sales this week include Lunt Silversmiths, Chelsea Textiles and Ann Gish, one of my absolute favorite lines of bedding and table linens!

One Kings Lane is the brainchild of two decor obsessed women, Susan Feldman and Alison Gelb Pincus. Feldman and Pincus are former New Yorkers who moved to LA and soon missed being able to attend designer sample sales which were abundant in New York. Realizing there was a void in the market, the two combined their expertise in retail and digital media with their love for home decor and design and founded One Kings Lane which is the first-ever online sample sale devoted to home. All I can say is thank you ladies for such a fabulous idea! (Although I may take that back once I start shopping up a storm and get my credit card bills!) Congrats ladies on a successful venture!
