Bungalow 5 has just opened a sparkling new showroom in New York City to showcase its modern home furnishings and accessories to the design trade and I’m thrilled to give you a little sneak peek. The showroom officially opens today and is the brand’s first in New York City. What I love most about Bungalow 5 is that even though their offerings are decidedly modern, there is gracefulness and versatility to each piece that enables it to fit seamlessly into any interior. So Haute indeed! You can visit Bungalow 5 on the web here.

I’m guest posting today over at Brooklyn Limestone where I’m taking you inside one of the messiest spaces in my home…my junk drawer! As part of a fun series developed by Mrs. Limestone called Junk Drawer Overhaul, I’m showing you how I transformed my junk drawer from a disorganized mess to an organized and orderly storage space…and made a few extra bucks in the process! Click here to read all about it!

Q. Hi Nicole – I recently purchased a Lee Industries English style sofa with rolled arms and a single bench cushion. I have no idea what fabric I should cover it in! I like solids and prints. Do you have any suggestions? -Rudy

A. Right now I’m LOVING the new upholstery fabric collection from DwellStudio! While the range includes everything from basic cotton solids, luxe velvets and richly textured tweeds, it’s the the bold, graphic patterns that really stand out. My favorite is “Vintage Blossoms” shown on the sofa above in Dove. It’s a hip take on a traditional print and and really pops on this classic sofa which, like yours, has a single bench cushion. Aside from the fact that the collection is A-mazing, one of its greatest features is that anyone can purchase these fabrics by the yard directly from DwellStudio.com! (Members of the design trade can source DwellStudio Fabrics wholesale though Robert Allen showrooms.) Good luck!
