We’re in the last dog days of summer and now that the weather is starting to cool I’m already longing for a warm beach getaway! One of my favorite warm weather destinations is Turks & Caicos where there’s plenty of sunshine, white sandy beaches and the most beautiful, clear turquoise water I’ve ever seen. When I visited in the Winter of 2010 I stayed at a luxury resort called Amanyara which is definitely on my top list of hotels in the world. The property is ultra secluded, with modern, zen-like interiors and plenty of amenities including a fabulous spa, tennis, yoga and more.  It also boasts a gorgeous, private beach located directly in front of a five mile stretch of barrier reef that is full of life and ripe for exploring. It is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all! Below are photos of the resort taken during my trip. Wishing I was back there already!

A couple of months ago I hinted at an exciting project that I was working on with Target and Nate Berkus and I’m excited to finally share the details! I was beyond lucky to get first dibs on pieces from Nate’s new home collection which hits Target stores and Target.com on October 21st and we shot a super fun video documenting how I incorporated these pieces into my home. Nate even paid a visit to my place to check it out for himself and afterward we ventured out to explore a few of our favorite places in the city for inspiration. Available in Europe since 2009, the H&M Home collection includes mostly accessories, soft goods and small furnishings, all at a super affordable price. True to the Swedish retailer’s fast fashion concept, new home products are introduced every couple of weeks. Below is a peek at the current H&M Home offerings.
